Fibers throughout the pad are uniformly coated with a high-quality resin and fine cleaning particles, providing good performance throughout the pad’s long life. Open-web construction means this washable, reusable pad resists clogging and loading. Conformable fibers provide maximum pad-to-floor contact. The 3M™ Red Buffer Pad 5100 is available for round and rectangular rotary swing machines and automatic floor machines running at low speed (175-600 rpm).

The product is reversible and approximately 1 inch thick.

3M™ Black Stripper Pads 7200 , the industry standard against which all other stripping pads are measured, provide nearly 40 percent greater initial cut than competitors and offer high performance throughout the life of the pad. Coarse fibers and abrasives provide aggressive stripping performance, removing two to three layers of old finish. The web of fibers is permeated throughout with a uniform coating of resin and abrasive mineral particles, consistently delivering impressive cut over the life of the pad. The pad’s open-textured, non-woven construction resists clogging, allowing stripping solutions to flow through the pad. The pads are approximately ¾ inch thick and sized for round and rectangular low-speed (175-600 rpm) rotary floor machines and automatic scrubbers.

Floor stripping pads remove old and soiled finish, sealer and contaminants from floor surfaces in preparation for recoating. Stripping is the first step in a maintenance program and also appropriate when scrubbing will not achieve the desired results. This remarkable stripping pad incorporates abrasive particles bonded securely to coarse fibers to provide the degree of abrasion necessary to remove the finish, yet will leave a surface smooth enough for recoating. Using Your Pneumatic Sander
This tool is intended to be operated as a handheld tool and is air-powered. It requires an air compressor that will provide a clean lubricated air supply with an airflow rate of 17 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), or 481 liters per minute (LPM), and 90 pounds per square inch (psi) at the tool, i.e. the point where the air hose is connected to the tool, when the tool is running with the level fully depressed. Recommended is an approved 3/8 inch (10 mm) airline at the minimum length required for the application, with a maximum length of 25 feet (8 m).
