This sandwiched design provides much improved handling characteristics, especially for cutting with knives or scissors. In contrast, after cutting a simpler single-layer 300LSE-based sheet with a knife or with scissors, the edges along the cut tend to stick together, making it almost impossible to peel the liners off cleanly.
