It has a strong, heavy-duty paper backing and a proprietary high strength adhesive which gives confidence in critical applications. 3M 2519’s color blends well with cardboard and Kraft cartons and unlike traditional film packaging tapes the tape can be torn by hand. The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and does not need water to activate it like a gummed paper tape.
