The heating element consists of a chrome-nickel alloy resistance wire, which is electrically insulated using a crocheted high-temperature yarn. The adapted shape ensures an even heat transition to the glass flask, and a layer of fiberglass insulation under the heating element reduces heat dissipation to increase efficiency.
